Fat Reduction Protocol
Maximize Your Results After Non-Invasive Body Contouring
Emerald Laser is a low-level laser therapy (LLLT) that targets stubborn fat and contours the body without pain, downtime, or invasive procedures. To get the best possible results from your sessions, it's important to follow a simple but consistent aftercare plan.
1. Hydrate Thoroughly
Drink at least 2–3 liters (70–100 oz) of water per day. Proper hydration helps your lymphatic system flush out the fat cells disrupted during treatment. This is essential for detox and body contouring success
2. Move Your Body
Gentle daily exercise is strongly encouraged: 30 minutes of light cardio within 6–12 hours of your session (e.g., brisk walking, rebounding, light cycling). Movement stimulates lymphatic drainage and accelerates fat elimination
3. Eat Clean & Nourish Your Body
Your diet plays a major role in shaping your results. For best outcomes:
Focus on lean proteins, vegetables, healthy fats, and whole grains
Avoid processed foods, refined sugar, and alcohol
Stay in a healthy calorie balance to prevent new fat storage
4. Support Lymphatic Drainage
Emerald Laser relies on your lymphatic system to eliminate fat. Boost its performance by:
Dry brushing before showers (3–4x per week)
Lymphatic drainage massage (optional, but effective)Wearing light compression garments (if recommended)
5. Prioritize Sleep & Stress Reduction
Aim for 7–8 hours of sleep each night to help your body recover and detoxify
Minimize stress, elevated cortisol can slow down fat loss
Avoid smoking or vaping, limit alcohol, which can impair blood flow and cellular repair
6. Stick to Your Treatment Plan
Emerald Laser is a progressive treatment. Most clients need:
6–10 sessions spaced 1–2 times per week
Results build over time, with visible changes often appearing after 3–4 sessions
Full effects may be seen 4–12 weeks after your final treatment
Your lymphatic system thrives on nourishment that supports circulation, reduces stagnation, and encourages natural detoxification. Incorporating these foods into your daily routine can gently stimulate lymph flow, lower inflammation, and help your body feel lighter and more energized; from the inside out.

It is based on general wellness recommendations and protocols suggested by Emerald Laser and the manufacturer, Erchonia®, to help optimize the results of fat reduction treatments. Always consult with a healthcare provider or registered dietitian before making significant changes to your diet or health routine.
When undergoing Emerald Laser fat reduction treatments, it's important to support the process with a healthy lifestyle, especially through nutrition. While the laser helps emulsify fat and stimulate the lymphatic system, diet plays a crucial role in optimizing and maintaining results.
While the Emerald Laser helps you target stubborn fat, your daily food choices play a major role in your results. To support the process and maximize fat loss, it’s important to avoid foods that cause inflammation, water retention, or interfere with your body's natural detox systems.

These spike insulin and encourage fat storage, counteracting fat reduction.
Sodas and soft drinks | Fruit juices (unless fresh and consumed in moderation) | Candy, chocolate bars, sweets | Pastries, donuts, cakes, muffins | Sugary cereals and granola bars | Ice cream and frozen desserts | Syrups and sweetened condiments (like ketchup, barbecue sauce)
